Questions
Yes. Stand-off fittings mount to the face of a sandstone or concrete wall, and base-plated spigots fix through decking into structural blocking between the joists. We specify the method for each edge from the site measure.
We measure every level and corner on site. Raked and transitional panels take up the slope, and glass-to-glass corners keep posts out of the view towards the reserve.
Visually, frameless glass is the lightest barrier there is. With the hardware kept low and the panels sized to the openings, the bush and sandstone stay the backdrop.
Yes. The barrier is inspected against AS 1926.1 and a certificate of compliance is issued by a private certifier or Willoughby Council. We install to that standard and liaise with certifiers.
Yes. Decks and stairs that step down a Castlecrag block are usually part of the same job, in matching glass and 2205 stainless hardware, certified to AS 1288.
