Glazed Co. has been named a New South Wales winner at the 2026 AGWA Design Awards, receiving the award for Bespoke Shower Screen or Barrier Project for our work at Prince St, Cronulla.
The Australian Glass & Window Association presented the NSW Design Awards on Friday 18 September, bringing together the state’s leading work across the glass and window industry. AGWA accredits our company and audits it annually, so recognition from the association carries particular weight for us.

Prince St, Cronulla
Prince St is one of the most technically considered glazing packages our team has delivered. Across the multi-residential development, Glazed Co. was responsible for a series of bespoke glazed elements: curved and straight balustrades, frameless pool fencing and architectural privacy screens.

The defining element was curved glass across the building’s façade. Each balcony edge is a different sweep, so no two panels repeat. Achieving the architect’s intent took close coordination between our team, the project consultants, the engineers and our manufacturing partners, with every panel resolved around its geometry, its structural performance and how it would be installed.
Measurement came first. The building was scanned with Leica laser technology and the site data transferred into CAD by our contracting partners at CADify, giving fabrication an accurate foundation for glass that had to meet a curved edge to the millimetre.

The glazing was engineered to the required structural performance criteria, with glass thicknesses and interlayer specifications developed for each application. Custom PVD-coated spigots with a triple-layer polymer coating were incorporated to meet the project’s electrical earthing requirements.
For the channel-fixed laminated glazing, long-term durability governed the detail. Sika FastFix-138 resin-based grout was specified as a non-cementitious infill, with a double layer of aluminium edge tape protecting the embedded glass edges.

The completed result brings together engineering, precision fabrication and considered installation, while the glazing itself stays visually restrained within the architecture. That balance is what we work towards on every project: a barrier that enhances the space rather than interrupting it.

Receiving this recognition from AGWA reflects the collaborative effort behind a project of this scale. Our thanks go to the project team, our consultants, engineers and manufacturing partners, and to everyone involved in bringing Prince St to life.
