Overview
An award-winning frameless glass pool fence does two jobs at once: it keeps the pool safe and compliant, and it lets the landscape stay the hero. Across Sydney we design and install glass pool fencing that reads as part of the architecture, not an obstruction around it — planned around the pool, the paving and the way the garden is used.

01
Seamless Design, Unmatched Quality
Every fence is built from 12mm clear toughened glass on 2205 marine-grade stainless steel hardware, with the fixing method chosen for the site — core-drilled spigots, channel fixing recessed into the coping, or side-mounted stand-offs where a raised slab calls for it. Non-conductive polymer-coated spigots keep the barrier compliant with AS3000, in finishes from matte black to brushed gold, and every gate swings on Polaris soft-closing hinges.

02
Spigots, Channel or Stand-Offs
The fixing is where a glass pool fence looks considered or looks fitted. Spigots core-drilled into concrete, pavers or coping are the most versatile, and suit almost any pool surround. Channel fixing sets the glass into a recessed track for the cleanest possible line, with no hardware above the paving. Stand-offs fix the panels to the face of a raised edge, retaining wall or deck, keeping the walkway clear. Many of our projects combine all three, so the fence follows the pool without a visible change in detail.

Licensed Glass Pool Fence Installers
Glass fencing is licensed glazing work, and every Glazed Co. installation team is made up of licensed glaziers and apprentices, backed by our AGWA company accreditation. Panels are set out to millimetre tolerances so gaps, levels and transitions stay consistent across the whole run, and the finished fence complies with AS1926.1, AS1288 and AS3000. Every installation carries our 10-year structural guarantee.

Built Around Pool Safety
A pool fence in NSW has to do more than look good. It must stand at least 1200mm high with no gaps over 100mm, keep a 900mm non-climbable zone clear of anything a child could use to climb it, and have a gate that is self-closing, self-latching and opens away from the pool. We set every fence out with these rules in mind from the first site measure — so planting, furniture, taps and retaining walls are accounted for before the glass goes in, not after an inspection.

Proven at the Highest Level
Our pool fencing has been recognised at a national level — National Winner for Innovation & Excellence in Glass Pool Fencing at the Australian Fencing Awards and Gold Winner for Safety Barrier at the SPASA Awards of Excellence. From a 70-metre run blending three fixing systems to a 180kg cantilevered panel floating over a spillway, the projects behind those awards are the same craft we bring to every backyard.

Questions
Glass Pool Fencing Sydney, answered
How high does a glass pool fence need to be in NSW?
At least 1200mm from the finished ground level, with no gaps over 100mm, under AS1926.1. Every glass pool fence we install is built to that standard.
What is the non-climbable zone?
A 900mm clear space around the pool barrier that AS1926.1 requires, so a child cannot use nearby objects, planting or parts of the fence to climb over or through it. It is mandatory in NSW, and it is the requirement most often lost over time as furniture, garden beds and decks are added — our guide on non-climbable zones covers each of the five zones.
What glass and hardware do you use?
12mm clear toughened safety glass on 2205 marine-grade stainless steel hardware, which suits Sydney's coastal air. Spigots are non-conductive and polymer-coated, and gates are hung on Polaris soft-closing hinges.
Does a glass pool fence need to be earthed?
Under AS3000, conductive parts of a pool fence within arm's reach (1.25m) of the pool edge need equipotential bonding. Our non-conductive, polymer-coated spigots keep the barrier compliant without running an earth wire to every spigot.
Should I choose spigots, channel or stand-offs?
It depends on the surface and the look you want. Spigots suit most paving and coping; channel fixing gives the cleanest line with no visible hardware; stand-offs fix to the face of a raised edge, wall or deck. We often combine them on one project — we recommend the right mix at the site measure.
What guarantee do you offer?
Our frameless glass fencing carries a 10-year structural guarantee, and it is installed by licensed glaziers who have completed a four-year glass and glazing apprenticeship.
Which areas of Sydney do you cover?
All of Greater Sydney — including the Northern Beaches, North Shore, Hills District, Inner West, Eastern Suburbs, Sutherland Shire, St George and Western Sydney — plus the Central Coast, Illawarra and Southern Highlands.
