Installed to AS 1926.1 it is a compliant barrier: 12mm toughened glass at least 1200mm high, no gaps over 100mm, a 900mm non-climbable zone and a self-closing, self-latching gate. It also lets you see the pool from anywhere in the garden.
Yes. The deck needs structural blocking between the joists along the fence line, and we fix base-plated spigots through the boards into that blocking, with a top rail or glass-to-glass brackets to hold the line as the timber moves.
Polaris soft-closing hydraulic hinges and a latch set at the required height. The gate opens away from the pool and closes and latches on its own from any position.
Yes. 2205 marine-grade stainless steel on every spigot, stand-off and hinge, with non-conductive polymer-coated spigots available where the fence is within the bonding zone of the pool.
A private certifier or Northern Beaches Council inspects the barrier against AS 1926.1 and issues the certificate of compliance. We install to that standard and liaise with certifiers on each job.
