Questions
Yes. The glass can run along the top of a retaining wall, with the non-climbable zone kept clear on the outside. Where a wall face is the better fixing, stand-off fittings mount to it directly.
Yes. Where the fence leaves the pool surround and runs across lawn or garden, a continuous reinforced strip footing carries the spigots. We confirm the footing detail before it is poured so the panels fit the finished levels.
AS 1926.1 requires a 900mm non-climbable zone on the outside of the barrier. On acreage that usually means keeping retaining walls, sandstone blocks, seating and planting clear of the fence line, or stepping the fence out so they fall outside the zone. We plan this at the site measure.
Polaris soft-closing hydraulic hinges and a latch set at the required height. The gate opens away from the pool and closes and latches on its own from any position.
A private certifier or The Hills Shire Council inspects the barrier against AS 1926.1 and issues the certificate of compliance. We install to that standard and liaise with certifiers on each job.
